Amy Ashmore holds a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of Timing Resistance Training (Human Kinetics, 2020), dozens of articles, blogs, and training and continuing education programs. Amy is a former Sports Sciences faculty member at Florida State University and the former Program Director for Sports Sciences at the American Military University.
This course explores the effects of concurrent training on strength development in recreational athletes. Discover how to program the frequency, mode, volume, intensity, and duration of cardiovascular training sessions to develop concurrent training sessions and programs to increase muscle performance in recreational athletes.
